Udhampur: The Cricket tournament for the young Cricketers in Udhampur is underway, which is being organized by J&K Sports Council and State Cricket Academy. In an press statement issued, DC Udhampur Ravinder Kumar said this cricket tournament will provide an ample opportunity of youth of Udhampur district to show their immense talent.
Vice Chairman district Sports Council Udhampur and Member Sports council & J&K Transport Advisory Committee , Rahil Gupta said this is one the various initiatives of the Sports Council under the directions of Secretary Waheed Para and patronage of Sports Minister Imran Raza Ansari.
The press statement further read “ DC Udhampur , Ravinder Kumar, who is also Chairman of District Sports Council and Vice Chairman Rahil Gupta have appealed to public of Udhampur to watch the matches at stadium as that will boost the confidence of youth of Udhampur.”
Rahil also directed Incharge Manager Udhampur to ensure the best facilities for the youth and the public that come to watch matches.
