Weeklong master workshop on ‘Web Development’ concludes at NIT Srinagar

Srinagar : The weeklong master workshop on Web Development concluded on Thursday at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar and it was attended by a large of students from across Kashmir.
According to a statement issued from Public Relations Office NIT Srinagar, the workshop was organized by IET On-Campus NIT Srinagar in collaboration with CETPA InfoTech, Noida, and Recimotech Solutions, Srinagar.
The valedictory cum felicitation ceremony was attended by Director NIT Srinagar Prof. (Dr.) Sudhakar Yedla, who was Chief Guest on the occasion.
Dean R&C, Prof. (Dr.) M.F. Wani, Head Electrical Engineering Department, Dr. Sheikh Javed Iqbal, Dr. Chilaka Ranga – Faculty Coordinator, IET On-Campus NIT Srinagar, and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
Dean R&C NIT Srinagar, Prof. (Dr.) M.F. Wani emphasized that such exposure workshops are vital and should be held very frequently so that students are introduced to the practical working environment of the scientific world.
Institute’s Registrar Prof. Syed Kaisar Bukhari highlighted the importance of web designing in the business world and stated that such events will encourage students to think out of the box.
He said there is no dearth of talent among the youth of Kashmir but there is a need for proper guidance, counseling to enhance and encourage their capabilities.
Prof. Bukhari said the workshop was aimed to provide participants with a solid foundation and understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles involved in web development.
On the occasion, Dr. Ranjeet Kumar Rout (CSE Deptt.) also highlighted the effectiveness of the event. He encouraged students to participate in such events aimed to bring out their leadership skills and technical growth.
He also presented an overview of the course and highlighted the topics that were taught during the workshop.
Tutors include Mr. Devansh Singh and Mr. Irfan Shafi guided the students on how to proceed with the things they learned in the workshop.
A formal vote of thanks was presented by the Faculty Coordinator of IET On-Campus, Dr. Chilaka Ranga.
He expressed her gratitude to Director NIT Srinagar Prof. (Dr.) Sudhakar Yedla, Registrar Prof. Syed Kaiser Bukhari, Dean R&C Prof. MF Wani, HOD Electrical Engineering Department Dr. Sheikh Javed Iqbal, Prof. A.H. Bhat, Dr. M.A. Bazaz and Dr. Ranjeet Kumar for their encouragement and unwavering support during the workshop.
Dr. Chilaka Ranga expressed his gratitude to representatives from CETPA InfoTech and Recimotech Solutions for their contribution.
He also appreciated the participants for their dedication, the organizing team for their hard work, and the Community Chair of IET On-Campus Mr. Pinak Pani Dixit for successfully organizing the 7-Day master workshop.
It was followed by a felicitation ceremony in which the tutors and organizing team were felicitated by Dr. Chilaka Ranga and Dr. Ranjeet Kumar.
