Srinagar|June, 11: Chairman J&K Employees Joint Consultative Committee (J&K EJCC) Aijaz Ahmad Khan has sought the intervention of Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary Dr Arun Kumar Mehta for release of salaries to all Government Employees before the commencement of Eid Ul Adha.
In a statement issued on Sunday the J&K EJCC Chairman Ahmad Khan has in view of the forthcoming Eid Ul Adha appealed Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary Dr Arun Kumar Mehta to direct administrative secretaries and Directors of all the Government Departments besides Managing Director of all Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to release salaries of their all employees at least a week before the commencement of forthcoming Eid Ul Adha to help them perform the sacred duty pf ” Qurbani” and other religious rituals on Eid Ul Adha. Khan also demanded disbursement of wages to daily wagers, casual labourers, daily rated workers of both the Government Departments and as well as Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) immediate intervention of both the Lt Governor and as well as Chief Secretary would bring respite and relief to the employees of both the Government and as well as Public Sector Undertaking besides daily wagers, casual labourers, daily rated workers of both the Government Departments and as well as Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) .
