Anantnag : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, SF Hamid on Wednesday flagged-off the batch of Hajj pilgrims of District Anantnag at a ceremony held in Dak Bunglow Khanbal.

Speaking at the flagging-off ceremony, the DC extended his best wishes to the Hajj pilgrims and emphasized the significance of this spiritual journey. He commended the efforts of the administration and various departments involved in making the arrangements, ensuring that all necessary facilities are in place for the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.
The DC also urged the pilgrims to adhere to the guidelines and protocols established by the Government of India and the Saudi Arabian authorities. He emphasized the importance of following all health and safety measures to protect themselves from any untoward incident.
