Jammu : A Team of Pollution Control Committee Jammu conducted inspection of polythene Manufacture units in the Industrial Area of Gangyal Jammu.
During the inspection of the Industrial units, the team seized 211 kg of single use plastic (14 Nos Rolls) used for the wrapping of sweet boxes and one packet of 75 micron. The team comprised Arshad Nazir Malik, Divisional Officer, PCC Jammu South; Randeep Singh Manhas, Scientist-A and Dimple Sharma, Field Inspector, Pollution Control Committee Jammu North.
Meanwhile action under rules has been initiated against the offenders.
