Srinagar : The Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla accompanied by the Director IB Tapan Kumar Deka on Wednesday visited J&K Police Headquarters at Srinagar where he chaired the meeting the top officers of the J&K police.
DGP J&K Dilbagh and other officers on this occasion briefed the Union Home Secretary regarding the working of Jammu and Kashmir Police and measures taken for maintaining peace in the J&K. On the occasion, the police chief on behalf of all ranks of J&K Police presented mementos to the Union Home Secretary & DIB as a token of love & respect.
The meeting was attended among others by DGP J&K Dilbag Singh, DIB, Tapan Kumar Deka, Additional Chief Secretary J&K, R. K. Goyal, Spl. DG CID J&K R. R. Swain, ADGP Jammu, Mukesh Singh, ADGP Headquarters PHQ, M. K. Sinha, IGP Traffic J&K, Vikramjeet Singh and Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri. Earlier, the Union Home Secretary was received by DGP J&K and his team of officers on his arrival at PHQ.
