Srinagar : Police on Monday organized a meeting of Retired Police Personnel in District Police Lines Baramulla.
According to the statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarers Srinagar, the meeting was chaired by SP Hqrs Baramulla Ms. Divya D-IPS. The participants were welcomed by chairing officer and assured that police is always at their disposal. She said that they should not feel alone and consider themselves still part of the Police organization and can approach any Police officer or Police unit at any time of exigency.
Police in its above quoted statement said that during the meeting, the participants raised various issues and the chairing officer assured them that their genuine issues/problems would be taken up at an appropriate level for their early redressal and SP Hqrs on this occasion assured them that the Welfare of our retired personnel as well as their family members always remains our top priority.
Police in it’s statement further said that the meeting concluded with the vote of thanks and with the assurance that such meetings will be held on regular basis in future also to redress the grievances of the retirees. Besides, Police department is also taking various measures for the welfare of retired Police personnel and their wards.
