Bandipora : A special drive was on Saturday launched by Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Bandipora on Bandipora-Gurez road for inspection of vehicles and necessary documents with special focus on installation of Speed limiting devices.
During inspection, vehicles were properly inspected and the necessary documents were also checked. 40 vehicles were checked and a sum of Rs. 7500 was recovered on spot from the offenders besides the documents of vehicles were also seized.
ARTO Bandipora, Bilal Ahmad Mir said that such inspection shall continue across the district and there is zero tolerance approach towards any violation of rules and regulations.
