Anantnag: DDC Anantnag, SF Hamid, on Friday visited Govt. Medical College Dialgam, where he was welcomed by Principal, Faculty members and students of the Medical College.
He was briefed by the Manager, JKPCC regarding outlay and completion of works of the college. Thereafter, District Development Commissioner along with Principal Medical College, Prof. (Dr.) Tariq Syed Qureshi and Faculty members visited all nine (09) individual Departments. The infrastructure, equipments and developmental work of departments was appreciated by the District Development Commissioner and expressed hope that these well-developed departments will go in a long way to impart practical knowledge to upcoming Doctors and Paramedics.
DDC congratulated GMC Anantnag for starting post graduate DNB Courses and hoped that more number of seats could be allotted to GMC Anantnag during the current year. Moreover he visited the central library and appreciated its working for 24×7 which is highly beneficial to students.
He directed Manager JKPCC that the deadline of 15th May, 2023 as fixed by Shree Rajiv Rai Batnagar, Advisor to Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor should be followed in letter and spirit and advised them to work in double shifts so that the project including landscaping will be completed by 15th of May 2023.
