Jammu: The Traffic Police in Jammu City carried out a special drive against vehicles hiding or without number plates. Five two-wheelers with registration numbers JK01 AD-1658, JK02CV-1693, JK02BA-1093, JK02CJ-1657 and JK14E-6112 were seized in the Narwal area for either plying without number plates or hiding them with black tape.
The general public is informed that strict action will be taken against violators found plying their vehicle without a High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) or hiding it. The vehicle may also be seized under the Motor Vehicle Act/rule.
