Srinagar:-Two militants were killed and an over groubd worker arrested during an encounter in Khudwani area South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
SSources said tgat acting on a tip off about presence of militants SOG Kulgam and Army cordoned off Khudwani area of Kulgam around 3:00 am today.
While searches were intensified suspected militants hiding fired upon the Goverment forces triggering an encounter.
In exchange of firing between militants and Government forces two militants were killed and one OGW was arrested. When contacted a senior police official, ‘yes on a specific we cordoned off Khudwani area and in a brief encounter two militants were killed and one OGW was arrested. The slain militants were identified as Sair Wani and Dawood Illahi both were affiliated with HM’.
