World renowned Cranio Maxillofacial Surgeon to visit SKIMS Medical College in May

Srinagar: The general public of Jammu and Kashmir is informed that World Renowned Cranio Maxillofacial Surgeon, Professor Krishna Sham Rao (MBBS, FRCS England, MDS FDSRCS Ireland) from Bangalore is visiting SKIMS Medical College, Bemina from 17th to 24th May, 2023.
The Surgeon will be operating complex facial surgeries at SKIMS Medical College-Hospital Bemina during this time. The patients having any kind of issues like Facial deformities, Nasal deformities, External Ear deformities, Craniofacial deformities and Cleft lip and cleft palate problems will be treated by the doctor. Notably, the patients will be operated free of cost by the surgeon.
New timing for schools falling outside Srinagar municipal limits
“No Change In School Timings within Srinagar municipal limits ‘’
Srinagar: The School Education Kashmir (DSEK) Wednesday ordered change in school timings from April 1 for all schools of Kashmir division falling outside municipal limits.
In an order issued on Wednesday the Director School Education Kashmir Dr Tasaduq Hussain Mir said that the new timings for the government and the recognised private schools falling outside Srinagar Municipal limits will be from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
The orders shall be implemented from April-01.
“The order and the instructions shall be adhered to strictly by all the concerned institutions,” the DSEK said.
Earlier on February-28, School Education Department had changed school timing in Srinagar city from 9Am to 2 Pm.
Under Secretary to government for School Education Department had said, “I am directed to convey approval of the department for change of school timings in Srinagar City from 9 Am to 2 Pm from March 01.”
Pertinently, in the backdrop of ongoing work for Srinagar smart city, the timing of all schools within the Srinagar municipal limits shall remain the same from 9Am to 2Pm
