Srinagar : Under the supervision of Regional Director NSS, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, GOI, NSS volunteers of GDC Khansahib started a three day survey on youth at the adopted village of Katch, Khansahib.
In this regard, an inaugural ceremony was held at college campus, wherein volunteers were provided with necessary stationary items for conducting the survey.
Dr. Nargis Bano, Principal of the institution, conveyed her best wishes & appreciated the role of NSS for its proactuve role.
Prof. Zaffar Shadad Khan, Staff Secretary, highlighted the importance of surveys in social science research.
NSS Programme Officer, Dr. Sajad Padder, threw some light on survey ethics & imperatives of survey research for policy making purposes.
The volunteers accompanied by NSS PO & faculty members including Prof. Shahnawaz Alum & Dr. Shabir Ahmad Ganai began survey of the said area.
