DYS&S organizes Yoga Prog at Dubai Grand Int’l School Zainakote

Srinagar : Under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and commemorating 75 years of Independence, a Yoga program was on Saturday organized at Dubai Grand International School Hokarsar Zainakote Srinagar.
The programme was organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYS&S), Zone Batamaloo. Students of Batamaloo zone including a significant number of female students participated in Yoga programme.
On the occasion, Speakers said that Yoga will bring people together through compassion and kindness and foster a sense of unity.
Students also spoke about the ill effects of drugs and their preventive measures. They in their speeches said that Yoga brings joy, health and peace from within and deepens connection between an individual’s inner consciousness and the external world.
Emphasizing on the essential need of every individual’s participation in Yoga, Principal Dubai Grand International School Parvauz Ahmad Paul said that Yoga has mental, physical and spiritual aspects that are essential for the overall well-being of the children.
