B2V-4: Prabhari Officers listen to Public across Pulwama Panchayats

Saturation of demand for Self-Employment, uploading of B2V-4 reports on web-based application on agenda: DC Pulwama

Pulwama : An overwhelming response of the public was on Monday witnessed during the follow up programme of phase four of Back to Village (B2V-4), as the Prabhari officers physically visited and conducted scheduled activities in different Panchayats of Pulwama district.
The Prabhari Officers along with the local officials organised Gram Panchayats, conducted inspection of public infrastructure, schools and departmental stalls; convened Convergence meetings of all departments, distributed Land Passbooks, Mamta kits etc. Sports activities, cultural events, Nash Mukht pledge, plantation and cleanliness drives were also held among other activities.
Majid Khalil Drabu, Controller Legal Metrology, J&K, the visiting officer Panchayat Gangoo, interacted with PRIs, SHGs, and the general public. The PRIs of the area projected several demands and highlighted their proble He was apprised about the Developmental works going on in the area by the line departments. The Visiting Officer inspected the newly sanctioned sports stadium in the area.
The visiting officer was accompanied by ADDC Pulwama, Dr Sheikh Abdul Aziz, ACP Pulwama, BDO Pulwama/ Newa and other officers/ officials of various Departments.
Speaking on the occasion, Drabu said that it is an initiative aiming to bridge the communication gap between the administration and citizens. The principal objective of this programme is to ensure saturation of demand for Self Employment.
Led by the Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, thousands of Government employees at all levels participated in various programmes including Gazetted Officers who were directly deployed to the Panchayats in the whole District.
Speaking about the B2V4, the DC said that the administration is reaching out at the doorsteps of the people to register their grievances and address them promptly.
The DC said that top priority is to ensure that demands and promises are followed up and converted into a reality. “This is an action packed deliverable oriented programme with focus on youth, skills and self employment, good governance and Panchayati Raj, Nasha Mukt and Rozgar Yukt Jammu and Kashmir,” DC added.
A number of activities of public services were also carried out during the day in the rest of the District.
Designated Administrators were accompanied by officers/officials from concerned line departments in order to ensure proper understanding and recording of grievances.
Sanction letters regarding establishment of Mushroom units on subsidy by Deptt of Agriculture were handed over to the beneficiaries during Employment Saturation Drive at Pyt Halqa Dogripora.
Keeping in view the main agenda of the B2V4, Self help groups were created at Panchayat Halqa Noor pora-B, ensuring saturation of demand for self-employment.
Review meetings were held at all Panchayat Halqas of District Pulwama regarding saturation of demand for self employment.
