Free Skiing Course for Migrant Children

Jammu Relief Organisation Monday flagged off Ist Batch of Kashmiri Migrant Girls for free Skiing Course at Gulmarg.
This is the outcome of “SSS-Campaign” LG’s Special Governance Camps, which were launched by Lieutenant Governor on 4th February, 2023 and the campaign continued till 15th Feb 2023.
The focus of the SSS campaign was Skill Development, Self Employment, Social Assistance, Social Needs, Sports and Studies.
In furtherance to the needs assessment done by the Relief Organisation, Monday a batch of 04 Kashmiri Migrant Girls was deputed to Gulmarg for free Skiing Course in collaboration with the Department of Youth, Services and Sports J&K.
This is the first time that such a special initiative has been taken by the Relief Organisation.
From every district 05 Girls each were selected for the course and Relief Organisation facilitated 04 Kashmiri Migrant Girls in the Skiing Course at Gulmarg which is being organized by Youth services and Sports Department J&K w. e . f 21.02.2023 to 06.03.2023 (for 15 day).
Further, another batch of Kashmiri Migrant Boys will also be facilitated for free Skiing Course at Gulmarg.
