TLSC Kangan organizes Awareness Progon ‘National Youth Day’

Ganderbal: On the directions of Secretary District Legal Service Authority Ganderbal, Nusrat Ali Hakak and under the guidance of Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Kangan, Essar-Ul-Nabi, the Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC) Kangan in collaboration with Advanced Institute of Modern Sciences Kangan Thursday observed National Youth Day at Kangan, here on Thursday.
On this occasion, Advocate Sajad Ahmad Khan who was appointed as resource person by this Committee emphasized that National Youth day is observed/celebrated every year on 12th of January in remembrance of Swami Vivekananda which is also his birth day.
In 1984 the Government of India declared this day as National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year.
He also advised students/Youth to not indulge in unlawful activities and focus on their future and try to contribute to society in a good way.
Staff Members of TLSC Kangan, PLVs of TLSC Kangan and students of the said institution were also present.
The Chairman of the said institution appreciated TLSC Kangan for organizing such an awareness programme in their institution and urged Authorities to organize more such programmes.
