Doda: A team of the Mining Department, under the supervision of District Mineral Officer, Sunil Manhas, with the cooperation of the Police Department, on Monday seized 3 vehicles involved in illegal Mining activity in Sub-Division Gandoh.
Acting tough against illegal mining in area on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, the team seized the vehicles in the DudwarNalla of the area.
The vehicles have been booked under the Mining Act. It was given out that the department shall intensify its checking and anybody found involved in illegal mining activities shall be dealt with as per the Law.
