Distt Admin Kulgam conducts Block Diwas camps at Kulgam, Devsar & DH Pora

DC listens to people at Kulgam; Prog witnesses overwhelming public response

Kulgam: To provide governance at the door steps of people and take first-hand appraisal of their grievances for early redressal, the District Administration Kulgamon Wednesday organized Mega grievances redressal camps in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D.H.Pora.
The programme witnessed overwhelming response from PRIs and general public who highlighted issues and grievances confronting their areas for early redressal.
Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.BilalMohi-Ud-Din-Bhat remained available at Kulgam where he listened to grievances and issues of people for redressal.
Officers from District Administration were also present during the Block Diwas who responded to the grievances flagged by people during this grievances redressal camp.
People from Bugam, NillowAdoora, Wanpora, Shorat, Laisoo, Samnoo, Chawalgam, Redwani, Qaimoo and various other areas participated in the grievances redressal camp and put up various issues of public importance and flagged developmental requirements of their areas.
The DC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed various issues of immediate nature on the spot.
Earlier, the DC also took brief of action taken on the issues and grievances raised by people in the previous block diwas.
Meanwhile, Block Diwas functions were also held at Block Devsar and D.H.Pora where ADC, Viqar Ahmed Giri and SDM, Bashir ulHasaan listened to issues and grievances of people for redressal.
