DDC Kishtwar reviews progress under Capex Budget, MGNREGA, 14FC, PMAY and SBM

Kishtwar: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav on Tuesday chaired a meeting to review the progress under Rural Development Department Sector and took stock of progress made under the flagship programmes including PMAY, MGNREGA, 14th FC and SBM and Capex Budget.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Sham Lal; Assistant Commissioner Panchayats, ZakirHussainWani; Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), AtulDutt Sharma; District Panchayat Officer (DPO) Sunil Bhutyal; Block Development Officers, officials from engineering wing of RDD, and other concerned.
On the occasion, the DDC was briefed by the ACD regarding the block and panchayat wise physical and financial achievements under Capex Budget, PMAY, SBM, MGNREGA, 14FC and other schemes.
Directions were passed to expedite the pace of execution and completion of the ongoing works in stipulated time by mobilising men and resources at work places.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the BDOs to focus on effective implementation of MGNREGA and ensure timely payment of wages to the job card holders and disbursement of material payment of works already executed by agencies.
The BDOs were also directed to complete Aadhar Card linkage of all beneficiaries availing the benefits of different schemes.
DDC impressed upon BDOs to complete all Houses under the PMAY (G) by January 30 without any fail.
While reviewing 14 FC works, the DDC directed RDD functionaries to make 100 percent utilisation of available funds to create dependable rural infrastructure in the district.
The DDC also reviewed the progress under the Swachhata in every village initiative under SBM to achieve Open Defecation Free (ODF) target.
During the meeting, the DDC further impressed upon BDOs and executing agencies to accelerate the pace of work in their respective areas by adopting innovative methods.
