Panchayat Electoral Roll Revision: DPEO conducts SVEEP Prog at Shopian

Shopian: The District Panchayat Election Office (DPEO) Shopianon Monday conducted a SVEEP awareness programme at Mini Secretariat, here.
Scores of Health workers including ASHAs and field functionaries of Rural Development department attended the day long awareness. The field functionaries were urged to spread the awareness among the masses for enrollment on the Panchayat Electoral Rolls with the qualifying date as Ist January, 2023.
Dy. District Election Officer, Jahanger Ahmad on the occasion, spoke on significance of electoral participation and process of electoral registration in Panchayat Electoral Roll and stressed upon participants to get their eligible family members and other people enrolled before the cut-off date.
Election NT also shared his experiences among the participants to register themselves through their concerned PEBOs.
A large number of forms viz per 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D were also distributed among the participants for maximum voter registration. The detailed schedule of the revision was shared with the participants.
