Kulgam: The District Election Office Kulgamon Monday conducted training programme on electoral registration and electoral roll revision for EROs, AEROs, and panchayat election booth officials (PEBOs) at DIET Complex, here.
The training programme was inaugurated by the District Election Officer (DEO) Kulgam, Dr. BilalMohi-Ud-Din Bhat.
During the training programme all participants were briefed and necessary training and instructions were given to them to conduct the electoral registration and electoral roll revision smoothly and take necessary steps to bring the process to a logical end.
Speaking on the occasion, the DEO highlighted importance of the process of electoral registration and electoral roll revision and urged the participants to work religiously to complete the process of electoral registration and electoral roll revision within given timeframe.
Dy-DEO Bilal Ahmad Kamgar said that the process of electoral registration and electoral roll revision will commence from 21 December, 2022 to 18 January, 2023.
The training session was attended by DPEO, Dy-DEO, ACD, ACR, SDM Noorabad, all EROs, AEROs and panchayat election booth officials.
