CEO JaKeGA chairs awareness Progfor VLEs in Kishtwar

Kishtwar: An awareness workshop on digital services was on Thursdayorganised here to sensitize VLEs about Janbhagidari Portal, Digital J&K Initiatives Digital Literacy Campaign.
Chief Executive Officer, J&K e-Governance Agency, Information Technology Department, Abhishek Sharma presided over the event held in the conference Hall of DC Office complex .
The VLEs were made aware about the Empowerment/Janbhagidari portal, Digital J&K initiatives like eUnnat, Digital Literacy campaign to be launched across all villages under PMGDisha.
In his address, the Chief Executive Officer stressed to promote and disseminate Information Technology culture in the District so that common man could avail the benefits of Information technology and e- Governance.
He also called upon the CSC Officials to ensure that the public gets the desired information and e-Services literally at their doorsteps.
During the awareness programme, the VLEs were asked to work with utmost dedication to ensure increased transparency, efficiency and effectiveness in delivery of services to common people.
During the question answer session, various queries of VLEs were satisfactorily responded by Chief Executive Officer, J&K e-Governance Agency, Information Technology Department, Abhishek Sharma.
Besides, the VLEs were also imparted awareness on various guidelines issued by the govt regarding /Janbhagidari portal, Digital J&K initiatives like eUnnat, Digital Literacy campaigns across all villages under PMGDisha.
Later, the CEO, JaKeGA also reviewed the functioning of CSCs in the district.
