Kishtwar : The Athletes of District Kishtwar have bagged two medals in the ongoing two-day Inter-District Provincial Level (IDPL) under-19 Girls and U-17 Girls Athletics meet being held at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sports Complex Katra.
The Gold Medals were won by QuratUlAin in Javelin U/19 Girls and PalviParihar in Javelin U/17 Girls, both students of GHSS Girls Kishtwar.
The Physical Education staff of Kishtwar, under the guidance of DYSSO,. KharatiLalSharma, imparted training to all these sports persons before the competition.
Both the students/Athletes will now represent the J&K at national platform.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar has extended congratulations to both students for their remarkable achievement.
The Sports Department has been applauded for providing the students a platform to showcase their talent at provincial level.
