Protect socio-political interests of J&K people, address grievances of people : Hakeem tells Centre

Says " Political parties thriving on lies and deceit"

Srinagar|Nov, 28:- Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (JKPDF) and former Minister Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen has reiterated his party’s resolve to fight for restoration of all   constitutional rights of the people of Jammu & Kashmir. He said no one would be allowed to tinker with the identity and honour of the people.
       Addressing a meeting of the PDF functionaries and workers of Gaffar Abad ,Hardwael ,Brael areas of Waterhail Block in Khansahib constituency , Hakeem soughtrestoration democratic and constitutional rights of the people to end prevailing socio- economic uncertainty in Jammu & Kashmir. The meeting was convened to take stock of the prevailing socio- economic situation in Jammu and Kashmir  and problems confronting the people .
Hakeem cautioned the people against the machinations of  political parties that were exploiting the sentiments and emotions of the people on false promises like in past . He said people should outrightly reject all the  political parties thriving on deceit and lies. He also cautioned against designs of divisive forces  which were hell bent to create void between communities for satiating thier vested political interests .  ”  We should defeat plans of political outfits that we exploiting people on the basis of  religion ,region and caste basis , ” Hakeem said, adding that  politics should be for promoting unity ,amity  and prosperity and not for creating hatred  and animosity. 
Hakeem appealed the Central Government to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir with due safeguards to exclusive rights on land and employment to it’s bonafide citizens as early as possible. He also demanded early assembly elections to end prevailing socio- political chaos in Jammu & Kashmir . PDF Chief  asked his party workers to widen their  public contact activities to listen to the burning problems and issues of people to help them in redressing their grievances . He said people of Khansahib area like other parts of Budgam were suffering due to power breakdown, drinking water shortage and poor road connectivity .
