Preparations for “MY Town MY Pride  2.0“ programme reviewed in Srinagar

Srinagar : In connection with preparatory phase of My Town My Pride (MTMP 2.0) starting from 28th November 2022 to 04th December 2022, a meeting was held on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad  at Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex under the Chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Zahoor Ahmad Mir here Saturday.

Joint Commissioner, SMC, Syed Abul Qasim, General Manager DIC, Hamida Akhtar, Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Yaseen Lone, Superintending Engineer PHE, Hydraulic, Gurcharan Singh, SDM East, Murtaza Ahmad, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Jameel, all District/Sectoral Officers and other concerned were present in the meeting.

At the outset, a detailed discussion was held in order to ensure successful conduct of the My Town My Pride (MTMP 2.0).

The ADDC stressed the Officers of all Departments to work in coordinated manner to ensure that the desired objectives of the programme are achieved. He asked the Officers to mobilize all resources and manpower for achieving the targets on deliverables in all 35 Municipal Wards of the District.

He said MTMP 2.0 is a relation between Public and Administration to give boost to developmental activities and ensure benefit of all social security schemes is reached to all genuine beneficiary of the District through “Jan Baghidari”.

He said on the outlines of recently concluded Back to Village-4 programme, the MTMP 2.0 ‘programme will also envisage time bound delivery of documents like domicile, income certificates, revenue services, besides ensuring benefits under various schemes including pensions, scholarships, PMAY-U, Golden Health cards, Ladli Beti,etc through camps to be organised in all 35 Municipal wards of the District.

The ADDC also emphasised on conducting mass awareness regarding all Government sponsored public centric welfare and development schemes for overall socio-economic development of people in City and asked the concerned officers to use the MTMP 2.0 programme as a platform to generate awareness about various schemes/initiatives of their respective departments.
