Rajouri : Commemorating the “AzadiKaAmritMahotsav”, Indian Army on Tuesdayorganised a lecture here at Government Degree College Budhal to inspire the young generation to join the Indian Armed Forces.
Various entry schemes available including procedures and eligibility criteria to join the Indian Armed Forces were described in detail to the gathering. A brief on the procedure for entrance into Sainik / Military Schools / RIMC was also given for the benefit of School Children attending the lecture. Stress was laid on the importance of academics, personality development, communication skills, co-curricular activities & sports as an essential part of life in the Armed Forces.
An interactive session towards the end further ensured that all doubts and queries of the audience were cleared. The attendees exhibited great enthusiasm towards joining the Armed Forces and were thankful to the Indian Army for this detailed lecture.
