Srinagar : Police on Monday organised a farewell function at Police Component Budgam for 14 outgoing Armed Police Officers/Officials upon their repatriation from District Budgam to their respective parent units.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, Police said that during the event, SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem threw light on the tenure of departing officers/officials and commended their skills, professionalism and decision making during toughest situations. He lauded their contribution in maintaining peace and order in District. The departing officers/officials also shared their experience during their tenure in the district.
The ASP Budgam Gowhar Ahmed, DySP DAR DPL Budgam, DySP (Ops) Budgam and other officers also attended the event. ASP Budgam and DySP PC Budgam in their speeches lauded the role of outgoing officers/officials during their tenure in district Budgam and hoped that the said officers/officials shall continue their good work. Police in the concluding para of it’s above quoted statement said that as a goodwill gesture, mementos and gift items were also presented to all outgoing officers/officials, Stating therein further that all the officers and officials of Budgam District conveyed their best wishes to the outgoing officers/officials for their new assignments.
