Bandipora : As part of JanJatiyaGauravSaptah (Tribal Week), the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, DrOwais on Friday held an interactive meet with tribal children of Gujjar and Bakerwal Hostel Bandipora.
Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad and Warden G&B Hostel Bandipora were also present on the occasion.
Interacting with students, the DC said that aim of the meet was to expose children to better career opportunities and to take feed back from them regarding various service available at G&B Hostel.
He advised the children to make judicious use of time during career deciding years. He encouraged them to prepare for future endeavours as this is the right time to begin.
The DC also shared his life experience with the children to guide them towards proper direction.
Dr. Owais also took feedback from the children regarding the available facilities in hostel. DC directed concerned to provide all the proper facilities at hostel including heating arrangements.
