Srinagar|Oct,31: Army on Monday said that it has arrested two militant in Chak keller area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district and handed them over to police for further investigation after recovery of warlike stores from their possession.
In statement issued here on Monday the army’s Srinagar based PRO Defence said after receiving inputs about the presence of two militants in general area of Chak Keller from Jammu & Kashmir Police a Joint Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) was on last Sunday (30th November) at about 5.15 P.M established in the area , Stating therein further at about 8:00 P.M on Sunday evening. Stating that the MVCP intercepted a vehicle from which the travelers tried to flee but were apprehended and identified by Jammu & Kashmir Police as Gowher Manzoor and Aqib Hussain Nanda, both residents of Drabgam, Pulwama, the Army in it’s above quoted statement further said that warlike stores were recovered from the possession of the above named suspects who have been handed over to the Police Station, Keller.
