Srinagar : President J&K National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Party’s Vice President Omar Abdullah on Saturday expressed anguish over the fire incident in which over 25 residential structures were gutted in Chug village of Gandhari, Padder in Kishtwar district.
In a statement issued by the party here on Saturday, the duo asked the administration to rush in rescue teams from the district headquarters with adequate relief materials for the affected families in the blaze-hit families. They also asked the government to rush in revenue teams to the affected village to assess the losses incurred by victims, so that an adequate compensation is worked out and distributed among them as really as possible. The duo also prayed for the swift revival of the affected.
