Srinagar : President J&K National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to the bereaved family of noted Islamic Scholar Moulana Muhammad Abbas Ansari, who breathed his last the other day.
According to a statement issued from the NC Media Cell Dr. Farooq Abdullah offered Fatiha for the deceased and prayed for fortitude to the bereaved.
Sharing in grief of the bereaved household, DrFarooq said, “It was his advocacy of peace, espousal of the cause of sectarian harmony, and profundity of exposition of various Islamic tenets that made him a much appreciated figure. He had made peace-making and bridging sectarian dives a permanent mission of his life. I pray to Almighty to bestow highest echelons to the departed soul in Jannat, and forbearance to the bereaved family, followers , and admirers of his,” he said.
