Doda : Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare on Saturday conducted a one day KisanMela/Farmers Awareness Camp at Panchayat Jalga Zone Bhalra Sub division Pranoo District Doda under Jan Sunwayi Abhiyaan.
Approximately 75 farmers and staff of allied departments like Horticulture and Animal Husbandry also participated.
SMS, PawanDev Singh delivered a Lecture on different schemes of the Department, while Plant Doctor Manjeet Singh spoke on the pre &post harvest technology and importance of seed treatment.
AEO Bhalra, Arif Sajjad thanked the farmers for participation in the camp. JAEO, Reeta Kotwal; JAEO Diwakar Anand; AEA Ajay Kotwal; AEAYasin were also present in the Kisan Mela.
