Kisan Samman Sammelan: Reasi farmers watch live-streaming of inaugural session, address of PM

Reasi : Farmers from different areas of the district watched live streaming of the inaugural session of KisanSammanSammelan by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Conference Hall of DC Office here on Monday.
Around one hundred farmers attended the event at district headquarters, besides numerous others at similar live streaming events organised at Zonal Headquarters and Panchayats of the district by the Department of Agriculture.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner, BabilaRakwal interacted with the farmers and stressed upon utilisation of PM KISAN installment for purchase of fertilisers, seeds and other agriculture implements.
The DDC Councilor JijBagli, Abdul Rashid was also present on the occasion.
Chief Agriculture Officer, Harbans Singh, briefed the farmers about diversified farming, natural farming , crop rotation etc. He also informed that approximately 18 thousand farmers of the district would receive the 12th installment of PM KISAN.
