Rajouri :  District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) Rajouri on Saturday approved 80 new cases under the Mumkin and Tejaswini Schemes of Mission Youth.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal.

Officers present in the meeting were CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; GM, DIC, Ashwini Sharma; DDE, QadeerUlRehman and DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt.

The Mumkin scheme is an initiative of Mission Youth for providing sustainable livelihood to unemployed youth in the transport sector. Under the scheme, commercial vehicles are provided to the youth on subsidised rates, while under Tejaswini Scheme, financial support is provided by the Govt to the females of 18 to 35 year age group for new startups.

After threadbare discussion, the DLIC approved 50 fresh cases under the Mumkin and 30 under Tejaswini scheme.

The DDC asked the concerned officers to generate mass awareness among the educated and unemployed youth of the district about the schemes and ensure their maximum coverage under the same.

Stressing upon the officers to put in sincere efforts to remove hindrances faced by the youth in availing benefits under the Mission Youth, the DDC asked them to coordinate and guide them wherever required and personally help them to avail the benefits.
