Ramban : Dy. SP, IRP 16 Bn, Anu Sharma on Wednesday inaugurated Science Exhibition here at Paryas Hemkrish Model High School, Govindpura Maitra, held under the aegis of Education Department Ramban.
Principal of the Host School, SK Atri, local PRI, Mohinder Singh and several prominent citizens were also present on the occasion. Zakir Hussain Naik, Ajay Singh and Ajaz Ahmed acted as jury to evaluate models presented by the students.
As many as 19 science models prepared by 45 students from the 3rd class to the 10th class were displayed at the Science Exhibition. The participating students displayed their scientific temperament through their models.
Model ‘Our Environment’ prepared by the SaniaShabir& Mania Naz of class 10th was adjudged overall best and model ‘Drip Irrigation’ by VedikaKamakshi of class 9th and model ‘Wind Mill & Solar Energy’ of D V Daksh of Class of 5th secured 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Dy. SP appreciated the School Management for providing a platform to students for displaying their talent in the field of science and innovations.
Later, winners were awarded cash prizes by the School Management.
