Shopian: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishyaon Friday chaired a meeting of officers at Mini Secretariat, here to review the physical and financial progress of District Capex, Area Development Programme.
It was informed in the meeting that 1183 works were completed under Area Development, District Capex in the district till date during this year.
DDC was apprised about ongoing developmental works in each block of the district and implementation status and progress.
Block-wise extensive review of works was taken during the meeting and officers were exhorted upon to work in mission mode to get the works completed within the given timeframe.
Highlighting the importance of timely completion of works, DDC impressed upon the concerned to ramp up the pace of works so that all the undertaken works are completed within the shortest possible time without compromising quality.
He also instructed the officers to remove all identified bottlenecks for smooth and speedy execution of these works.
While taking stock of block- wise progress, DDC stressed on improving the performance in each block so that the cent percent target is achieved and said that no kind of laxity will be tolerated on this behalf.
JDP Shopian, Khursheed Ahmed Khatana; ACP, RizwanAsgar; Ex. Er REW, BDOs and other concerned were present in the meeting.
