Srinagar, Jammu : The Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily Covid Bulletin on Wednesday said that 20 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) including 9 from Jammu division and 11 from Kashmir Valley reported till Wednesday evening raised the total number of positive cases to 478992, Stating therein further that with no new Covid death reported from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir the J&K’s overall Covid death toll stayed at 4785.
“Moreover, 31 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 10 from Jammu division and 21 from Kashmir division”, reads the above referred daily Covid Bulletin, adding that
“Also, 4,373 doses of COVID Vaccines have been administered in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across Jammu and Kashmir to 2,45,46,882”.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 478992 positive cases, 161 are Active Positive (60 in Jammu Division and 101 in Kashmir Division), 474046 have recovered and 4785 have died; 2352 in Jammu division and 2433 in Kashmir division.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for Wednesday, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 03 cases, Baramulla reported 00 cases, Budgam 03 cases, Pulwama reported 01 case, Kupwara reported 04 cases, Anantnag reported 00 case, Bandipora reported 00 case, Ganderbal reported 00 cases, Kulgam reported 00 cases and Shopian also reported no fresh cases for Wednesday.
In Jammu division, Jammu reported 06 cases, Udhampur reported 01 case and Kishtwar reported 02 cases while no other district reported any fresh cases Wednesday.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104. In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach the national helpline by dialling 1075.
