Bandipora : Forest Division Bandipora on Friday distributed licenses to private Depot owners and firewood among fire victims in a programme organised at Divisional Forest Office Chitternar, here.
The programme was presided over by Principal Chief Conservator of Forests J&K, DrMohit Gera.
The PCCF distributed the licenses among the private Depot owners in order to promote ease of doing business under JK Single Window System.
He also distributed timber among fire victims and also distributed Solar lights through WUCMA to people living in adjoining villages of Wular Lake.
Later, Dr. Gera also reviewed the functioning of the department in Bandipora in a meeting held with all concerned officers.
The PCCF was accompanied by APCCF Kashmir, Rabi Kumar.
Conservator Srinagar Circle, Zubair Ahmad and Divisional Forest Officer Bandipora, Mudasir Mehmood among others were also present on the occasion.
