Udhampur : As a part of Swachchta Pakhwada, the NCC cadets (1st J&K Girls Battalion Srinagar) of Government College for women Udhampur conducted a cleanliness drive on the College Campus here on Thursday.
The NCC cadets enthusiastically engaged in different cleanliness activities based on ‘Swachch Bharat Abhiyan’.
On the last day of the SwachhtaPakhwada, as many as 25 cadets participated in the cleanliness drive. They cleaned the entire area of the college campus and spread Swachata awareness.
The College Principal Dr. Monika Sharma, appreciated the cadets for actively participating in the cleanliness drive and spreading the awareness message among the masses.
Incharge ANO, ShalluJasrotia sensitised the cadets about the importance of cleanliness of the surroundings.
In the end, NCC cadets took a pledge to maintain cleanliness and spread awareness about cleanliness among the masses. Dr.Seema Sharma, HOD Music and Yash Kumar Assistant Professor, were also present in the pledge taken ceremony.
