Kulgam : A day-long training programme on Special Summary Revision for Supervisors and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) was held here on Thursday at DIET Complex, here.
This training programme was inaugurated by the District Election Officer (DEO) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.
Present on the occasion were ACR, Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz; Dy-DEO Bilal Ahmad Kamgar; TehsildarKulgam, Bilal Ahmad and other officers.
During the training programme, all the participants were briefed about various agenda points including registration of eligible voters, removal of entries of dead and permanently shifted electors, correction of errors in elector’s details and other aspects of the special summary were briefed to the participants.
On the occasion, Master trainers also deliberated on the components of special summary revision schedule, new form 6, 6B, 7, 8, Aadhaar linkage with Epics, 100 percent photo coverage in Electoral Roll, uploading of AMF/ EMF etc.
Speaking at the vent, the DEO impressed upon all supervisors and BLOs to ensure correct uploading of the data of voters.
The BLOs were given the training on how to make deletions, corrections, uploading etc. They were asked to make door to door surveys to ensure that every eligible person is enrolled and data uploaded.
The Dy-DEO informed that all this process will commence from 15th of this month.
