Ramban : Department of Youth Services and Sports District Rambanon Thursday commenced 3-day selection trials in cricket for the Lieutenant Governor’s Rolling Trophy in all 06 Zones of the district.
On the 1st day of trials, nearly 100 plus players participated in each Zone of District Ramban.
The DDC Councillors, BDC Chairpersons and PRIs were the Chief Guest at the inaugural function in their respective Zones in presence of ZPEOs.
On the occasion, the Chief Guests briefed players about this programme and instructed players to show their best capability during trials. These trials will continue for three days and a final selection list will be formulated after the trials will be over, they added.
The selected teams at the Zone level will participate in upcoming Inter Zonal District level competitions.
All the officials of the YSS department are putting their sincere effort to make this programme a grand success.
