RD, S&LR reviews progress in digitization of Jamabandies under DILRMPII-Phase

Puwama: The Regional Director, Survey and Land Records (S&LR) South Kashmir, Dr. Abdul Hafiz Shah on Monday chaired a meeting of all revenue officers of District Pulwama at District Headquarter to review the progress achieved in respect of digitization of Jamabandies under 2nd phase of Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).
During the meeting, the Regional Director took a detailed review of the work done by the revenue officers.
A detailed powerpoint presentation was given by Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Pulwama who apprised the chair that so far as 36569 khewats out of 88539, 88667 khatas out of 228518 and 181178 survey numbers out of 459255, have been digitized till date.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama and Awantipora also apprised the chair about the progress achieved in the District regarding digitization work.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Awantipora apprised that a digitization centre has been established in the Sub-Division Awantipora and the field staff along with CIS operators is working there round the clock.
Some technical issues were also raised by the revenue officers in the meeting and the same were discussed threadbare in the meeting. The officers were assured that the issues will be taken up with the higher authorities on priority basis and will be redressed soon.
All the revenue officers were directed to gear up the sub-ordinate field staff for accelerating/ expediting the progress of digitization work and complete the same within the fixed timeline i.e. 15 September, 2022.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama/ Awantipora, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Pulwama and all Tehsildars/ Naib-Tehsildars of district Pulwama.
