Budgam : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, S F Hamid on Thursday called for speedy completion of uploading of Revenue records of PM- Kissan beneficiaries.
DC said this, while chairing a meeting on PM- Kissan at Conference Hall Budgam.
At the outset, the DC stressed on speedy verification of beneficiaries and bulk uploading of Revenue records of eligible beneficiaries within a week’s time.
He emphasized on verification of farmers to be carried out in a coordinated manner by both revenue and agriculture employees to ensure speedy completion of the task in a time bound manner.
The DC termed the PM- Kissan an important welfare scheme and stressed that benefits of the scheme should reach all eligible and deserving farmers across the district.
At the outset, it was given out that village level coordination teams are to be headed by respective NT and monitored by concerned Tehsildars.
SDMs were designated as nodal persons for keeping DC updated on daily basis
The meeting was attended by ADDC Budgam, Dr. AkramullahTak; ACR, Chief Agriculture Officer, Tehsildars, NTs and other concerned officers and officials.
