DC Sgr holds Public Grievance Redressal Camp at Panchayat Ghar Lasjan

Srinagar  :  The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad AijazAsadon Wednesday visited Lasjan area in Panthachowk Tehsil of the District and presided over a Public Grievance Redressal camp during weekly Block Diwas.

Vice Chairman, District Development Council, Srinagar, Bilal Ahmad, DDC member Lasjan, AfrozaBano, DDC member Khonmoh, AjazAhmad other PRI members and people of Lasjan, Soiteng, Gundbal, Baginder and other adjoining areas were part of the Public Grievance Redressal Camp.

While District Programme Officer, ICDS, General Manager DIC, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Chief Medical officer, District Panchayat Officer, TehsildarPanthachowk, Block Development Officer, District Mineral Officer, Assistant Commissioner Labour, Lead District Manager and other District Officers were also present at the event.

On the occasion, scores of public delegations, individuals projected various issues and demands before the DC including upgradation and macadamization of link road, strengthening of Health Centre, augmentation of Water supply in the area, installation of ATM facility, providing of ambulance and transfer of inner roads for maintenance to R&B and providing of playground in the area.

The DC after giving patient hearing to the grievances and demands of the public, sought on the spot response from the concerned District Officers present in the Grievance Redressal Camp.

He assured the people that all genuine demands and issues projected by them will be looked into on priority.

The DC also gave on the spot direction to the concerned officers for time bound redressal of the public issues.

He assured the people that the demand of providing an ambulance for PHC, Lasjan will be fulfilled within two days to facilitate the local patients.

During the Camp, Programme Officer ICDS Srinagar gave a detailed awareness about various welfare schemes of the Government including LaadliBeti, PM MatruVandnaYojna, Supplementary nutrition, Old age pension etc.

Later, the DC inspected the proposed site for development of a playground for the local youth.
