LG, his adivisor greet people on Krishna Janmashtami

Srinagar : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and his advisor Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar in their separate felicitation messages on Thursday extended their heartiest greetings on the eve of auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami.
In his message, the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha said that the life and teachings of Lord Krishna have a profound significance, which continues to enlighten and guide us in our daily life. On this auspicious occasion, let us imbibe Lord Krishna’s message of love, compassion, discipline, knowledge and selfless action, and dedicate ourselves to the service of the nation. May the festival bring joy and happiness for all, the Lt Governor said.
In his separate message of felicitations the Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar said that the ideals of Lord Krishna’s life have universal relevance and his teachings of righteousness against evil, working for universal well-being and focusing on responsibilities is inspiring for all. The Advisor added that we should dedicate ourselves to virtues shown by Lord Krishna and strengthen our nation by contributing to the well-being of our people and society in large.The Advisor also prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of entire Jammu and Kashmir.
