Police organises Tiranga March, Nukkad Natak at APC Zewan

Srinagar : On the theme “Aan Baan Shaan of Tiranga” in connection with the celebration of “HAR GHAR JHANDA” programme, a joint Special Tiranga March and Nukkad Natak was on Wednesday organized by J&K Armed Police 3rd Sec, 9th and JKAP-12th Security Battalion Zewan at APC Zewan Srinagar.
According to a police statement issued on Wednesday students from various Government schools of Balhama/Zewan areas of district Srinagar participated in the event. The event was inaugurated by CO JKAP-3rd Sec Bn Sukhdev Raj besides, CO JKAP 12th Security Battalion Shri Sanjay Singh Rana-JKPS, School Staff members of Balhama & Zewan areas including Principal Govt. BHS Balhama, Principal Govt. GHS Balhama, Principal Govt. BHS Zewan, Principal Govt. MS Apparpora Balhama and Principal Govt. HSS Boys Khonmoh Srinagar and other staff members of schools, other guests & officers/officials of JKAP-3rd, 9th and JKAP-12th Security Battalions were present.
During the event, cultural programmes, Patriotic songs & National Anthem were presented by the students. In order to boost the morale of the students, gifts along with refreshment was distributed among all the participants.
The CO JKAP-3rd Sec Bn Sukhdev Raj, in his address highlighted the essence/importance of the National Flag & elaborated the Flag Code, Size and meaning of three panels of Tri-Colour. CO JKAP 12th Security Battalion Sanjay Singh Rana also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the history of National Flag. He elaborated the purpose of Tiranga March and emphasized the importance of good Police Public relationship.
