Police organizes Tiranga rallies in B’pora, Awantipora, K’gam

Srinagar: As a part of “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, Police organised a series of Tiranga rallies in Bandipora, Awantipora & Kulgam with zeal, zest and enthusiasm.
According to the statement issued by the Zonal Police Headquarters here on Sunday, in Bandipora, Tiranga rally was flagged off by SSP Bandipora Shri Mohmad Zahid-JKPS which started from DPL Bandipora, passed through the banks of Madhumati river and culminated at District Police Headquarters Bandipora. The march was also attended by DySP Hqrs Bandipora Shri Shafat Mohmad-JKPS, DySP DAR Bandipora Shri Ishfaq Alam-JKPS, DySP PC Bandipora Shri Zafar Mahdi-JKPS and other officers/officials of Bandipora police and NOKs of Martyrs. At the onset of the Tiranga march SSP Bandipora administered a pledge to officers and jawans to abide by the ideals of Constitution of India, respect the National flag and uphold the unity & Integrity of India.
In Awantipora, Police organized multiple Tiranga rallies across Police District Awantipora in which youth from different areas of Police District and Officers/officials also participated. During these rallies the participants sung patriotic songs.
In Kulgam, Police organized special Tiranga rallies with District administration Kulgam, in which District Police Kulgam, CRPF and Hundreds of students of various educational institutions participated. Tiranga Bike Rally started from DPL Kulgam in which SSP Kulgam along with other senior Police officers of Kulgam Police participated in the Rally and culminated at Ganta ghar Kulgam. Senior citizens & various Civil Societies also participated in the programme.
