JKP organizes progs’ across JK to celebrate Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

‘Har Ghar Tiranga’: Rural areas across J&K participate actively in ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, presents festive look

Srinagar : On the 3rd day of HarGharTiranga campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday organized various programmes across J&K. The programmes are witnessing overwhelming response from People across different walks of life.
According to the statement issued from Police Headquarters, the Har Ghar Tiranga programmes were organized on Saturday by District Police Doda, Poonch, Rajouri, Budgam, RPHQ-Baramulla, Awantipora, Kupwara, Samba, Reasi, Sopore, IRP 3rd Bn. IRP 12th Bn Samba and IRP 5th Bn.
As a part of the campaign of Police, District Police Rajouri organizes Tiranga rally and band show from DPL Rajouri to Gujjar Mandi area. Around 3000 police personnel, employees of various departments, members of civil society and school students participated in the rally. Throughout the March, the Police band played patriotic tunes. The rally received wide applause from the general public. DIG R-P Range Dr. Haseeb Mughal, DC Rajouri Vikas Kundal , SSP Rajouri Mohd. Aslam, ADDC Rajouri, ASP Rajouri and other senior officers of Police, CAPFs and civil administration also participated in the rally.
In Doda a joint mega rally was organized from Sports Stadium Doda to Old Bus Stand Doda in which civil administration, district Police, IRP-5th Bn Doda, Police Band DPL Doda, CRPF-33 Bn, SSB-7th Bn, NCC Cadets, Home Guard, and nearly 1000 children of various Schools of Doda participated. Tiranga rallies were also organised at Bhaderwah, Thathri, Gandoh, Assar Kastighar, Bhalla and Goha.
Led by SSP PoonchShriRohitBaskotra, District Police Poonch organized a Tiranga Rally from DPL Poonch and covered the whole of Poonch town. Besides, locals of the area Sh. Mushim Ahmed, Addl. SP Poonch, Sh. Nawaz Ahmed, DysPHqrs. Sh. Munish Sharma Dysp Ops. Poonch Sh. Sachin Gupta, DySP DAR Poonch took part in the rally.
At Reasi, Police organised Debate and Symposium Competitions across the District Reasi. Symposium Competition was organized in schools with an aim to raise awareness about Azadi ka Amrit Mahatsov and Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, use of the National flag and its display with respect on each and every house. To mark the celebrations, Competitions were organised in Gurukul Public School, Higher Secondary School Katra, Higher Secondary School Arnas in which hundreds of students participated and speakers put forth their views regarding 75 years of Independence Day and Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. To boost the morale of the students’ mementoes and Certificates were distributed among them. These events were organized under the supervision of Amit Gupta, Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi.
The Range Police Headquarters Baramulla organized a Cultural Progmamme today at on the theme “AAN BAAN SHAAN OF TIRANGA”. The event was witnessed by Rayees Mohammad Bhat, SSP Baramulla, Addl. SP Baramulla, DySP HQ Baramulla, DySP DAR DPL Baramulla and galaxy of officers/officials of RPHQ Baramulla. During the cultural programme, in addition to other activities, teachers as well as the students of Police Public School Baramulla also participated in the event. On the occasion SSP Baramulla highlighted the significance of the event and said that every citizen of this country should contribute and give his best for the dignity, prosperity and integrity of India. He also emphasized that we should give a better platform to our younger generations to contribute to India at National and International level in every field of life. He also lauded the participants of recent Common Wealth Games who won the Medals for this country.
The District Police Budgam also organised a Street Show (NukkadNatak) at the Bus stand Budgam with a Theme “Aan Baan Shaan of Tiranga” in which various artists of the District participated. Hundreds of spectators witnessed the show. The artists through their performances sent the message to the people to celebrate our association with the National Fag. Hundreds of flags were distributed among the spectators during the event. On this occasion, Tiranga marches were organized at multiple locations in Police district Awantipora in which local youth and students participated. The Kupwara Police organised Tiranga rallies across the district with great zeal and zest in which students of different schools, teachers, employees, youth, traders association, transport association participated.
In Samba, Police organized “TIRANGA rallies” in the jurisdiction of P/S Samba, Bari-Brahmna, Ghagwal and Purmandal to celebrate 75th year of Independence in which Police Officers/Officials, students from Govt/private educational institutions and the general public participated. In Samba town, Tiranga rally was organized at Main Bazar Samba which was led by SSP Samba, Dr. AbhishekMahajan. Dy.SPHqrs. Samba, Dy. SP Oprs., Dy.SP DAR, SDPO Bari-Brahmana, SHO P/S Samba, other Police Officers/ Officials and public of the area took part with great enthusiasm, marched through the Samba town towards Main Chowk Samba singing patriotic songs & waving the tricolor. A large number of students from Govt.& Private schools also actively participated in the said rally.
In Sopore, Police and civil administration organised a Tiranga Rally at Sopore and Rafiabad. The main rally started from MC office and culminated at Clock Tower Iqbal Market Sopore. Besides SSP Sopore Shabir Nawab officers/officials of Sopore Police/CRPF 179/22 RR and civil Administration, students of different schools, teachers, employees, youths, respectable citizens, traders association, transport association, also participated in Tiranga rally. SSP Sopore lauded the efforts of students, teachers and all other concerned for participating in such an impressive rally.
The IRP 12th BnNud Samba organised a “Special Tiranga March” from BnHqrs. Nud Samba to Sarna and vice-versa. The march was flagged off by the Unit Head wherein a large number of students of surrounding schools along with local youth, Police officers/officials of this unit participated. The Sarpanch and panches of the locality also participated. National Flags, pamphlets and sweets were distributed among the school students/general public on the occasion.
The IRP-3rd Bn. organized a special Tiranga Rally led by A.H. Munshi Commandant IRP-3rd Bn from Battalion Hqrs. APC Parihaspora to Devar Crossing, Singhpora, Pattan in collaboration with the students and staff members of the Govt. Middle School Yakhmanpor and respectable citizens of the locality. Moreover, the National flag was hoisted at Unit Headquarters, banners and posters were exhibited in and around the Unit Headquarters APC Parihaspora. Pamphlets depicting salient features and designing of the National Flag of India were distributed among the staff/ students on the occasion.
Police in the concluding para of the above referred statement said the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of Independence. The Tri-colour flag is a symbol of pride for every Indian and it represents national integrity and signifies the hopes and aspirations of the Indian people. J&K Police has dedicated one full week from 11th to 17th of August to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahatsov and under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign different types of events/ programmes are being organized by J&K Police in every nook and corner of J&K.
