Anantnag : Multifarious activities conducted by different departments under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Anantnag are in full swing across Anantnag to prepare for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations in the district.
Painting Competitions and National Anthem singing and essay competitions, quiz programmes, lectures, debates and seminars are being vigorously held in various Govt.Degree Colleges, ITIs and Polytechnic Colleges of the district. These activities are part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ under the aegis of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahatsov’.
GDCs of Anantnag, Qazigund, Larno, Kokernag, Bijbehara, Doru and Govt. Polytechnic College, Anantnag have taken the lead in organizing these activities besides holding Tiranga Rallies.
Thousands of students are proactively participating in the events and are excited to participate in upcoming Independence Day celebrations.
Similarly, Mission Poshan, Anantnag is engaging in Har Ghar Tiranga celebrations and its AWCs across the district remain decorated with colorful Banners and paintings of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Massive Tiranga Rallies have been organised by the School Education department in which thousands of students, staff, PRIs and the public have participated.
MC Anantnag and Municipal Committees across the district have also been proactive in holding seminars, Rallies, Flag hoisting ceremonies, March pasts, National Anthem singing competitions and installing Selfie points thereby highlighting the importance of the celebrations of Independence Day-2022.
PRIs involvement has been exceptionally noteworthy in Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, with President MCs leading from the front.
All government offices have hoisted Tiranga atop on their buildings throughout the length and breadth of the district.Towns have been decorated with Tricolour, giving mesmerising looks. Massive awareness campaigns on Har Ghar Tiranga are being planned ahead leading to the main function of Independence Day.
